Rainbow River Canoe & Kayak - Where Sport Meets Leisure

The spectacular Rainbow River, located  20 miles southwest of Ocala, is formed by a first-magnitude spring that produces 400-600 gallons of water a day. The glassy waters of this river make it ideal for discovering the different underwater creatures living there while peacefully kayaking or canoeing. Venture onto the Withlacoochee River with its deeper waters and dense forest surrounding, or you may prefer to rent a sit-down or stand-up paddleboard to wander down the river, where you can even snorkel among the caves. Enjoy a day on the water while surrounded by the untouched natural splendor of Florida.
